Universal Luts for All Cameras
Hey Filmmakers!
We're excited to release our Commercial Filmmaking Cine Luts (6 luts).
We designed these luts in collaboration with a professional colourist in Toronto.
All of the looks are based on looks that we personally use.
The looks vary between standard cinematic conversions, to darker and moodier looks.
We created these cine luts as a way to speed up your post production process.
These luts are meant to convert your LOG footage.
Filmmakers, cinematographers, production companies who want a great image with minimal effort.
We designed these to be fast, efficient and build a consistent image across videos.
TF Clean: Simple conversion, designed to work for most occasions (corporate, youtube, fast turn-around projects).
TF Blue: A simple blue tone push, great for setting a moody foundation for your commercial.
TF Low Blue: A stronger blue look, if you want that deep rich blue colour ratio - this has blues in the highlights and shadows.
TF Green Warm: A warm "filmic" look - with warmer tones pushed into the highlights, and a slight green push into the shadows.
TF Warm: A simple warm tone push, great for simple grades when you want warmth.
TF Magenta: a more acquired taste look. Does not work for every project, but has it's place for specific looks. Requires tweaking to dial in a proper balance.
For Premiere users, we insert our luts in the creative lut tab in Lumetri. We apply it on an adjustment layer ontop of the main footage.
You can then make adjustments to the footage below to balance the shots.
Every shot will need adjustments and balancing to have consistency across your project.
*A simple adjustment that you may find helpful is to add 0.5 exposure to your base footage (our luts lower exposure a touch, as it suits our preferences.
Here is a full length guide on how to use our luts (deep dive).
As evolving filmmakers, we strive to provide you with looks and luts that grow with us.
With that being said, with the purchase of our luts, you'll get free lifetime lut upgrades.
(Typically we update once a year to accomodate for our new tastes in luts).
That might mean new luts, or just better adjustments to the current luts.
Regardless, you'll get them all!
Thanks for the supporting Tenfold.
